Location. Seattle, WA, Honolulu, HI, Burlingame, CA, or the National Capital Region, decided during hiring. Regular travel to customer sites.

Stack. C#, .NET, AWS Secret environment, Docker, Kubernetes.

Clearance. Active Secret clearance required, or one held within the last two years with eligibility retained.

Summary. As a Mission Engineer, you will build the workflows the customer's problem needs, in secure environments beside the planners, and carry what the deployment teaches back to the backend, AI, and frontend teams. In this role, you will work directly on distributed systems that must operate reliably under uncertainty, driving breakthrough performance using modern engineering practices and secure infrastructure.

What you will do.

• Design and scale workflows on the multi-agent simulation platform

• Deploy models against real scenarios with the backend, AI, and frontend teams

• Tune agentic workflows and prompt architecture from what users need

• Own system inputs from architecture to implementation

• Deliver production systems in secure environments

Who fits.

• Two to six years of backend experience, C# and .NET preferred

• Curious about distributed systems, optimization, simulation, and agents

• Familiar with Python and LLMs

Pay range, Washington. $160,000 to $215,000 base salary.
